What is Advanced Enviro))Septic?Description
The Advanced Enviro))Septic pipe is a patented product comprised of four components:
- A cylindrical pipe of high-density polyethylene. The walls of the pipes are corrugated to increase the surface area for heat-transfer. They are also perforated to let the effluent water flow out. Each vein (undulation of the wall) is topped with oblique notches that contribute to the proliferation of bacteria responsible for the treatment of wastewater;
- A bio-accelerator that allows a faster ramp-up time;
- A non-braided polypropylene fiber membrane that covers the pipe, facilitates the oxygen supply, and acts as a support structure for the biomass;
- A non-woven geotextile fabric that is sewn around the fibrous membrane and prevents soil particles from migrating into the pipe.
Each pipe has an external diameter of 30 cm (12”) and is 3 m (10’) long. The pipe capacity for residential use is 90 liters per day. Its maximum volume is up to 220 liters (48 gal) of wastewater. Each Advanced Enviro))Septic pipe is clearly branded.
The Advanced Enviro))Septic pipes are joined together with couplings to create rows.
Offset adapters are used to connect the PVC pipes to the Advanced Enviro))Septic pipes for both air and wastewater. An offset adapter must be installed at the end of each row. Offset adaptors are available in single or double openings. Generally, a single offset adapter is used at the beginning of each row while the double offset adapter is installed at the opposite end where the piezometer and aeration pipes (connected to the vent) are located.
The installation of our system does not require any special tools.
