Commercial, Institutional and Community projects
For this type of project, the Advanced Enviro-Septic pipes must be used for an advanced secondary treatment system level.
The following chart, shows the main lines for these projects :
| Installation instructions – Commercial, Institutional or Community projects (More than 3240 liters total daily water flow) Advanced secondary treatment system |
| Authorization procedures required for this project | A presentation manual of the request for authorization for domestic wastewater treatment systems (Article 32), standard level . |
| Design requirements | The major design requirements are in the TA-7 technical form in which the MDDEP recognizes the performances of the Enviro-Septic wastewater treatment system technology. The TA-7 form is available on the MDDEP web site under standard level.
The TA-7 form must be used with the designer’s manual and the installation manual for commercial, institutional and community Enviro-Septic systems, available in the sections: Documents, Manuals, Designer’s manual and installation manual, Commercial, Institutional and Community projects. |
| Surface demansions for the land | The dimensions to be used are determined according to the rate of the hydraulic charges estimated for the polishing leaching field as specified in section 9, chart 9.1 of the manual on the study of conventional technologies for domestic wastewater treatments. |
| Type of soil required | It is possible to install an Enviro-Septic system on the following types of soil :
|
| Thickness of the native soil between the infiltration surface and the water table | The thickness of the native soil beneath the Enviro-Septic system must allow complete evacuation of the wastewater. The minimum thickness required depends on the type of soil on site.
