The Production Process
Since May 2002, the Enviro-Septic Production process takes place in a brand new factory and benefits from the latest technological advances from the plastic industry. Also, the production line is now almost entirely automated. The following pictures show the main steps of Advanced Enviro-Septic pipe production.

The Extruder
First, the plastic granules are heated up to form a plastic paste. This paste is then forced into a nozzle where it gets its cylindrical shape. |
 |
The Chain Moulding
The mold is made out of several half-circles that wrap around the plastic cylinder. When the mold is closed, the outside wall of the pipe is sucked into the cavities in order to obtain the unique shape of the Advanced Enviro-Septic pipe. |
 |
The Cooling Bath
After exiting the mold, the pipe is cooled down using water streams while put inside a cooling bath. |
 |
The Perforating Machine
Once it is cooled down, the pipe is perforated from the exterior. From the precise cutting that is executed originate the skimmer notches on the inside the pipe. |
 |
The Dressing
A non-braided fiber membrane and a geotextile membrane are then put around the pipe and sewn into place.

The Final Step
Finally, an automated system cuts the membrane-covered pipes into 3 m (10')etres lengths. The Advanced Enviro-Septic pipes are then prepared for shipping. |
