Enviro-Septic Examined From Every Angle

A team from both DBO Expert Inc. and Presby Environmental Inc.has traveled through the Unites States to take a look at 6 different installations, all having between 2 and 7 years of use.

They thoroughly examined the following four elements:

1. The nature of the receptive soil;

2. The nature of the water in the Advanced Enviro-Septic pipes;

3. The type of configuration;

4. The overall condition of the installation.

These tests have been conducted in partnership with Environnement ESA Inc.

We can see here that the sand around the pipe is intact even after many years of use.

The receptive surface not being clogged, this confirms two benefits from the Enviro-Septic System:

1. The surface of the receptive soil is protected. Therefore, it remains in its initial state whereas a traditional installation doesn't. When the soil is clogged after using a classic installation for 15 to 20 years, we have to use another part of the lot when replacing the installation.

2. The vast majority of suspended materials is eliminated by the bacteria that propagate in the membranes of Enviro-Septic.

The picture on the right shows the inclined hook-up of a serial installation.

We can see some signs of the flow of wastewater into the double length pipes. This proves that the serial system has been functioning normally and that part of the wastewater has been through this coupling during peak periods in the past.

The observations that have been made concerning these serial installations allow us to believe that the bacterial activity of the infiltration chambers has already done part of the treatment before the water goes through the inclined hook-up. The performance of these serial installations has convinced us of using this configuration for the Abitibi-Temiscamingue benchmark where Enviro-Septic will be put to the test in an impermeable soil with a lateral flow sand filter.

Everything was taken into account.

We see on this picture the head of engineering from DBO Expert Inc. and the Environnement ESA Inc. technician looking into a pipe with the help of a specially designed video camera normally used to check water systems and sewer pipes.
